Cheese and Bacon Wieners [barbecue or camp fire]

Comments: Remove toothpicks before serving.
  • Wieners
  • Cheese slices, into strips
  • Bacon slices
  • Toothpicks
  • Being careful not to cut through, cut a deep slit lengthwise into each wiener.
  • Lay 1 strip cheese into each slit.
  • Tightly wrap stuffed wieners into bacon slices.
  • Secure each end of bacon slices with a toothpick.
  • Prick each wiener onto a stick.
  • Cook over hot embers until really hot.
