Cheese and Bacon Wieners [barbecue or camp fire]

Remove toothpicks before serving.

- Wieners
- Cheese slices, into strips
- Bacon slices
|
- Being careful not to cut through, cut a deep slit lengthwise into each wiener.
- Lay 1 strip cheese into each slit.
- Tightly wrap stuffed wieners into bacon slices.
- Secure each end of bacon slices with a toothpick.
- Prick each wiener onto a stick.
- Cook over hot embers until really hot.
