Buttermilk Pancakes [camp fire]

  • 3 cups [420 g] flour
  • 3 teaspoons [15 mL] baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons [15 mL] baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon [3.75 mL] salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups [1 L] buttermilk
  • Oil
  • Into an al bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Break in eggs and pour in buttermilk.
  • Stir until batter is mostly smooth [there may be a few lumps].
  • Cook batter, a little at a time onto 4 thickeness of oiled al foil onto camp fire rack over medium-hot coals.
