Peachy Glazed Ham Steak [camp fire]

  • 1 center cut ham steak large enough for 4
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] peach preserves
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] ground ginger
  • Transfer ham onto a double thickness of heavy duty al foil.
  • Top with peach preserves and brown sugar then sprinkle with ground ginger.
  • Seal pocket.
  • Transfer onto camp fire rack over hot coals.
  • Cook for 30 to 45 minutes, until ham is tender.
