- 1 center cut ham steak large enough for 4
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] peach preserves
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] ground ginger
- Transfer ham onto a double thickness of heavy duty al foil.
- Top with peach preserves and brown sugar then sprinkle with ground ginger.
- Seal pocket.
- Transfer onto camp fire rack over hot coals.
- Cook for 30 to 45 minutes, until ham is tender.
