Chicken Breast Halves, Mushroom Gravy
Comments: Recipe may be doubled and cooked into a 5-quart [5-L] crock pot.

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of chicken soup concentrate
  • 1 [4-ounce / 114-mL] can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Arrange chicken pieces into crock pot.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix together dry white wine or chicken broth and cream of chicken soup concentrate.
  • Pour over chicken pieces.
  • Add mushroom silces.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours, or high 3 to 4 hours.
