Baked Apples
Servings: 5 or 6
  • 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
  • 2 tablespons [30 mL] raisins
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon
  • 5 or 6 medium apples, cored about 1 inch [2.5 cm] down, and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] water
  • Mix together sugar, raisins and cinnamon.
  • Stuff apples with sugar mixture then evenly dot apples with butter.
  • Pour water into crock pot, then arrange stuffed apples into crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
