- 8 cups [2 L] mashed apples*
- 4 cups [800 g] sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] ground clove

- *Peel core then crush apples.
- Mix together crushed apples, sugar, cinnamon and ground clove into a slow cooker.
- Cook on 'HIGH' for 5 hours, then on 'LOW' for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Pour into hot sterilized jars, and seal.
