Oatmeal
Comments: Serve along with milk.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 2 cups [500 mL] milk
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
  • 1/2 teaspooon [2.5 mL] cinnamon
  • 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
  • 1 cup [250 mL] chopped cored and peeled apples
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] raisins
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped walnuts
  • Grease the inside of a slow cooker slow cooker.
  • Whisk together milk, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, cinnamon, rolled oats, chopped apples, raisins and chopped walnuts into slow cooker.
  • Cover and just before going to bed, turn slow cooker on 'LOW', and the oatmeal will be ready for the next morning.
