- 2 cups [500 mL] milk
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
- 1/2 teaspooon [2.5 mL] cinnamon
- 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
- 1 cup [250 mL] chopped cored and peeled apples
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] raisins
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped walnuts

- Grease the inside of a slow cooker crock pot.
- Whisk together milk, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, cinnamon, rolled oats, chopped apples, raisins and chopped walnuts into crock pot.
- Cover and just before going to bed, turn crock pot on low, and the cereal will be ready for morning.
