- 2 pounds [900 g] ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 sweet green pepper, membranes removed and seeded, chopped
- 1 [28-ounce / 796-mL] can stewed tomatoes
- 1 [16-ounce / 454-mL] can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] water
- 2 1/2 teaspoons [12.5 mL] chili powder, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] seasoned salt, or to taste
- 2 tabelspoons [30 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups [500 mL] raw converted rice
- 3 stalks celery, chopped

- Brown together ground beef into a skillet; drain off fat.
- Mix together drained browned ground beef, chopped onion, chopped sweet green pepper, stewed tomatoes, toamto sauce, water, chili power, seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce, rice and chopped celery into a slow cooker.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Cover and cook on 'LOW' for 7 to 9 hours, or on 'HIGH' for 3 hours.
