Beef Vegetable Soup
Comments: Serve along with hot corn bread.
IngredientsPreparation
  • About 2 to 3 1/2 pounds [900 g to 1,6 kilos] small chunks chuck roast
  • 5 medium potatoes, diced
  • 5 carrots, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 or 5 sticks celery, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 small can corn kernels, drained
  • 1 small can string beans, drained
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Mix together all ingredients into a slow cooker.
  • Cook on 'HIGH' until the mixture starts to boil.
  • Turn on 'LOW' and leave to cook all day.
