- 1 1/2 pounds [680 g] beef cubes
- 1 cup [250 mL] onion slices
- 2 cups [500 mL] freshly cleaned mushroom slices
- 1 [10-ounce /284-mL] can cream of mushroom soup concentrate
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] red wine
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] beef broth concentrate powder
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] water
- 3/4 cup [3.75 mL] salt
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] pepper

- Arrange beef cubes into slow cooker before adding onion and mushroom slices.
- Into a bowl, mix together cream of mushroom soup concentrate, red wine, beef broth concentrate powder, water, salt and pepper.
- Well mix together all ingredients before pouring mixture all over beef cubes; cover slow cooker.
- Cook on 'LOW' for 8 to 10 hours, or on 'HIGH' for 4 to 6 hours.
