Easy Candies

  • 2 cups [400 g] sugar
  • 1/4 pound [113 g] margarine
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] peanut butter
  • 2 cups [500 mL] rolled oats
  • Into a casserole, over high heat, bring together sugar, margarine, cocoa powder and milk to a boil.
  • As soon as mixture starts to boil, count exactly 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and rolled oats.
  • Drop spoonfuls mixture onto waxed paper.
  • Leave to cool completely.
