- 1 [16-ounce / 454-mL] can carrot slices
- 1 [8-ounce / 227-mL] can whole potatoes
- 1 [8-ounce / 227-mL] can cut string beans
- 1/4 cup [35 g] flour
- 1 pack dry onion soup mix
- 3 cups [750 mL] beef dices

- Reserving liquids, drain all vegetables.
- Into a large casserole, mix together flour and dry onion soup mix.
- Stir enough water into reserved drained vegetables liquids to get 3 cups [750 mL] liquid
- Stirring, pour liquids into casserole.
- Still stirring, bring mixture to a boil.
- Leave to simmer, stirring for 1 minute.
- Mix in drained vegetables and beef dices; cover casserole.
- Leave mixture to simmer over low heat for approximately 10 minutes, until really hot, before serving.
