Carrot Raisins Salad
Comments: Serve this salad really cold, right from the refrigerator.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 3 cups [750 mL] grated carrots
  • 1 cup [250 mL] raisins
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] liquid honey
  • 6 tablespoons [90 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] milk
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt [optional]
  • Delicately mix together grated carrots and raisins.
  • Into a clean bowl, mix togehter liquid honey, mayonnaise, milk, lemon juice and, if desired, salt.
  • Pour mixture all over carrots and raisins; mix delicately, until thoroughly mixed.
  • Refrigerate until really cold, before serving.
