- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] soy sauce
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
- Freshly peeled vegetables, cut into bites
- At least 1 inch [2.5 cm] deep hot frying oil

- Beat together beaten eggs, soy sauce and water.
- Slowly stir in flour and salt; beat until smooth.
- Dip vegetable pieces into dough until well coated.
- Fry vegetable pieces into hot oil for 5 to 10 minutes, until done to taste.
