String Bean Casserole

  • 1 or 2 cans French-style cut string beans, drained
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of mushroom soup concentrate
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] milk
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • 2 4/5 ounces [81.5 g] fried onion rings
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Transfer drained string beans into an oven-safe buttered casserole.
  • Mix together cream of mushroom soup concentrate and milk; pour all over string beans.
  • Sprinkle all over with grated Parmesan cheese and paprika.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 15 minutes.
  • Arrange fried onion rings all over melted cheese.
  • Bake for 5 minutes more, before serving.
