  • 1 pound [454 g] macaroni elbows
  • 2 pounds [1 kg] ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can any tomato spaghetti sauce
  • Pepperoni slices, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Mozzarella cheese, to taste
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Boil macaroni pasta noodles into salted boiling water until 'al dente'; drain.
  • Brown together ground beef and chopped onion into a frypan, until ground beef is well done.
  • Drain off fat before stirring in tomato spaghetti sauce and pepperoni slices.
  • Mix in drained macaroni pasta noodles.
  • Pour into a long buttered oven-safe baking dish.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle mixture all over with grated Mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake into preheated oven, until cheese starts to brown.
