Ground Ham and Hard-Boiled Egg Sandwiches
Comments: Kept refrigerated, these sandwiches can be prepared a long time before serving time; a little before serving time, bring sandwiches to room temperature before heating them.

  • 1 1/2 pounds [680 g] ground ham
  • 1/2 pound [227 g] any grated cheese
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] catsup
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] really fine onion dices
  • Hot dog rolls
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Mix together ground ham, grated cheese, chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, catsup and onion dices.
  • Stuff hot dog rolls with mixture; separately wrap each stuffed roll into al foil.
  • Heat sandwiches into preheated oven for 20 minutes, before serving.
