- 6 pork chops
- 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of celery or mushroom soup concentrate
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] sour cream
- 1 cup [250 mL] any grated cheese
- 24 ounces [680 g] hashed brown potatoes
- 1 can fried onion rings
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Into a frypan, brown pork chops on both sides; set aside.
- Mix together cream of celery or mushroom soup concentrate, milk and sour cream; salt and pepper.
- Mix in 1/2 cup [125 mL] of grated cheese, hashed brown potatoes and half of fried onion rings.
- Evenly spoon mixture into a 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] pan.
- Arrange reserved browned pork chops side-by-side all over mixture.
- Cover and bake into preheated oven, for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle mixture with remaining grated cheese and fried onion rings.
- Bake, uncovered for 5 minutes more, before serving.
