Quiche

  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] cooking oil
  • 1 cup [250 mL] canned pressed meat, into cubes
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] sweet green pepper, membranes and seeds removed, chopped
  • 1 cup [225 g] any grated cheese
  • 2 cups [500 mL] milk
  • 1 cup [250 mL] 'bisquik' mix
  • 4 eggs
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Preheat oil into a frypan.
  • Brown together meat cubes and chopped onion and sweet green pepper into hot oil.
  • Stir in grated cheese, milk, 'bisquik' mix and eggs.
  • Pour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch [13 x 23-cm] baking pan.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 30 minutes.
