- 1 French or Italian bread loaf
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] milk or half-and-half
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
- Cinnamon, to taste

- Slice bread.
- Well beat together beaten eggs, milk or half-and-half, vanilla and sugar.
- Well soak bread slices into eggs mixture.
- Sprinkle each slice of bread with cinnamon.
- Brown onto a hot grill, until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve immediately.
