Apple Crisp

  • 4 cups [1 L] chopped apples*
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup [45 g] flour
  • 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 1/3 cup [75 g] melted butter
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • *Peel, core, grossly chopped and measure apples.
  • Evenly arrange chopped apples over the bottom of an oven-safe dish; sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
  • Mix together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, salt and melted butter.
  • Evenly sprinkle flour mixture all over chopped apples.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 30 minutes.
