- 4 cups [1 L] chopped apples*
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
- 1/3 cup [45 g] flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1/3 cup [75 g] melted butter

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- *Peel, core, grossly chopped and measure apples.
- Evenly arrange chopped apples over the bottom of an oven-safe dish; sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
- Mix together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, salt and melted butter.
- Evenly sprinkle flour mixture all over chopped apples.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 30 minutes.
