Pineapple Pork

  • 2 pounds [1 kg] roasted pork cubes
  • 1/2 can crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] nutmeg
  • Cornstarch
  • Cold water
  • Into a casserole, bring together pork cubes, crushed pineapple with juice, brown sugar and nutmeg to a boil.
  • Leave to simmer slowly until hot.
  • Mix a little cornstarch into a little cold water.
  • Using diluted cornstarch, thicken sauce to taste before serving pork cubes, coated with pineapple sauce.
