Fries
  • 1 unpeeled potato, cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] canola, olive or other oil
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Pinch of onion powder
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Parsley flakes, to taste
  • Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste [optional]
Poutine
  • Fries [1 recipe]
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sauce
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] cheese curds
Fries
  • Preheat oven to 450° [220°C].
  • Mix together potato strips, oil, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and parsley flakes.
  • Arrange potato strips apart onto a lightly oiled baking sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, turning potato strips every once in a while.
  • Salt, if desired pepper, and enjoy.
Poutine
  • Pour brown sauce all over fries.
  • Sprinkle with cheese curds, and enjoy.
