- 8 pork chops, fat removed [1 pound / 454 g total]
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] tomato juice
- Pinch of Cayenne pepper
- Pinch of basil
- Pinch of thyme
- Pinch of oregano
- 1 teaspoon [5 g] sugar or brown sugar [5 mL]
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] any broth

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Brown pork chops, without any fat, into a frypan for approximately 5 minutes.
- Pour in a little of the tomato juice if needed.
- Transfer pork chops into a rectangular, lightly greased oven-safe dish.
- Mix together minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice, Cayenne pepper, basil, thyme, oregano, sugar or brown sugar and broth.
- Pour mixture all over pork chops.
- Bake, uncovered into preheated oven, for approximately 30 minutes.
