- 1 cup [250 mL] whole wheat bread flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] white bread or rye flour
- 1 tablespoon [7 g] instant active yeast
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] warm, yet not boiling, milk [2% m.s.g. or less]
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] warm, yet not boiling, water
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter, margarine or oil [15 mL]
- White, pizza or tomato sauce, to taste
- Grated Swiss, Cheddar, Mozzarella or any other cheese [20% m.s.g. or less], to taste

- Pineapple chunks
- Ham, chicken, salmon or tuna fish dices

- Into a bowl, mix together, bread whole wheat bread flour, bread white or rye flour, yeast and salt.
- Into a clean bowl, mix together warm milk, warm water and butter, margarine or oil.
- Pour liquids into dry mixture.
- Knead dough for approximately 5 minutes, mixing in more flour if needed, to get a dough that is no longer sticky.
- Transfer dough into a greased bowl; leave dough to rise for 15 minutes in a warm environment, away from drafts.
- Punch dough down with your fist once; knead dough for 4 minutes.
- Divide dough into two equal parts then roll dough into circles.
- Transfer dough, using rolling pin or with your hands, onto a cookie sheet or pizza pans.
- Leave dough to rise slightly, for approximately 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Cover pizza dough with white, pizza or tomato sauce.
- Top with grated Swiss, Cheddar, Mozzarella or any other cheese, and then with any chosen garnishing[s].
- Bake into preheated oven, for approximately 20 minutes, until golden.
- Serve immediately.
