- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt [optional]
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] ground clove
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] allspice
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] raisins
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
- 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
- 1 cup [250 mL] unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt [if desired], nutmeg, ground clove, allspice, raisins, chopped nuts and rolled oats.
- Well mix in applesauce, oil, eggs and vanillIa.
- Drop dough, 1 teaspoonful [5 mL] at a time, apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 12 minutes.
