IngredientsPreparation
  • 1 cup [140 g] flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt [optional]
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] ground clove
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] allspice
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] raisins
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
  • 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
  • 1 cup [250 mL] unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt [if desired], nutmeg, ground clove, allspice, raisins, chopped nuts and rolled oats.
  • Well mix in applesauce, oil, eggs and vanillIa.
  • Drop dough, 1 teaspoonful [5 mL] at a time, apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 12 minutes.
