  • 1/4 cup [60 g] margarine
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] granular fructose
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
  • 3/4 cup [105 g] flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] semi-sweet miniature chocolat chips
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Cream together margarine and fructose; beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Sift together flour, baking soda and salt into first mixture.
  • Mix well.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon dough, 1 teaspoon [5 mL] at a time, approximately 2 inches [5 cm] apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 8 to 10 minutes.
