Uncooked Vanilla Ice Cream [ice cream machine]
Comments:	If desired, to make chocolate chip ice cream, churn ice cream until of puree consistency. Carefully open-up churn and add 3 cups [750 mL] semi-sweet chocolate chips. Close-up churn and continue processing.

Ingredients	Preparation
4 cups [1 L] half-and-half 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vanilla extract 3/4 cup [150 g] sugar 1 pinch salt	Into a bowl, whip together half-and-half, vanilla extract, sugar and salt. Pour mixture into ice cream machine container. Process following manufacturer's instructions.
