Really Boysenberry Sherbet
Comments: Either serve immediately or freeze this sherbet, but remove it from the freezer approximately 15 minutes before serving.
Servings: 4
  • 3 cups [750 mL] unsweetened frozen blackberries
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] orange juice concentrate
  • 4 teaspoons [20 mL] water
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] Brandy or Cognac [optional]
  • 4 fresh mint leaves, to decorate [optional]
  • Into a blender or a food processor using metal blade, puree together frozen blackberries, orange juice concentrate, water and, if desired, Brandy or Cognac, scraping sides as needed.
  • Serve into individual bowls, each garnished with a mint leaf if desired.
