Maple Nut Ice Cream

  • 1 [10 1/2-ounce / 300-mL] can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup [250 mL] chopped roasted nuts
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] maple extract
  • 2 cups [500 mL] heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • Into a large bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk, chopped roasted nuts and maple extract.
  • Delicately fold in whipped cream.
  • Pour mixture into a bread pan or other 5 x 9-inch [17.5 x 23-cm] container; cover.
  • Freeze mixture for approximately 6 hours, until firm, before serving.
