Fast Berry or Fruitful Sherbet

What a refreshing dessert on a hot summer day.
You can use any desired berries or fruit pieces as long they are frozen.
I use maple syrup; I do not add any pepper.
Servings: 6
  • 1 pound [454 g] frozen berries or fruit pieces such as raspberries, blueberries or any other berries, or any desired fruit pieces
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] pure maple syrup, honey or corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 pinch freshly ground pepper [optional]
  • Into a blender, mix together all ingredients into an on-off motion for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, until smooth.
  • I did start with the on-off motion but ended up blending non-stop for a few seconds to get a perfect mixture.
  • Freeze until really hard before serving.
