- 1 cup [250 mL] pureed cantaloupe*
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] lemon juice
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] cream
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] vanilla
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] honey
- *Puree cantaloupe along with lemon juice.
- Beat together sugar, milk and cream.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Add sweetened cantaloupe puree along with honey.
- Mix enough to blend honey and dissolve sugar.
- Pour mixture into ice cream maker cylinder.
- Process following manufacturer's instructions.
