Apple Cinnamon Ice Cream [ice cream maker]

  • 1 egg white
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] unsweetened apple juice
    or
    2 tablespoons [30 mL] frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] cream
  • Beat egg white until foamy, not dry.
  • Add unsweetened applesauce, unsweetened apple juice or frozen apple juice concentrate, nutmeg, cinnamon and cream; blend gently but thouroughly.
  • Pour mixture into ice cream maker cylinder.
  • Process following manufacturer's instructions.
