Ginger Salmon Steaks

  • 5 teaspoons [40 mL] oil
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] freshly grated ginger
  • 4 tablespoons [60 mL] salt-free catsup
  • 4 [5 1/4-ounce / 150-g] each salmon steaks
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Freshly chopped parsley, to taste
  • Heat oil into a large frypan.
  • Add grated ginger and salt-free catsup to frypan, then arrange salmon steaks into frypan; pepper.
  • Cover frypan and simmer salmon steaks slowly for approximately 15 minutes, until done.
  • Serve onto warm individual plates, sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley.
