- 5 teaspoons [40 mL] oil
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] freshly grated ginger
- 4 tablespoons [60 mL] salt-free catsup
- 4 [5 1/4-ounce / 150-g] each salmon steaks
- Pepper, to taste
- Freshly chopped parsley, to taste

- Heat oil into a large frypan.
- Add grated ginger and salt-free catsup to frypan, then arrange salmon steaks into frypan; pepper.
- Cover frypan and simmer salmon steaks slowly for approximately 15 minutes, until done.
- Serve onto warm individual plates, sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley.
