- 6 peaches
- Water
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
- Star anise
- 1 1/2 ounced [40 g] slivered almonds
- 4 teaspoons [20 g] margarine
- 2 ounces [60 g] blackberry jelly
- Cinnamon, to taste
- 2 unpeeled oranges, rinsed then slices and seeded

- Peel, half and stone peaches.
- Poach peach halves into sweetened with sugar water along with star anise, for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Drain then arrange onto a serving plate.
- Lightly brown slivered almonds into melted margarine; set aside.
- Melt blackberry jelly; sprinkle melted jelly with cinnamon and pour melted jelly all over peach halves.
- Sprinkle peach halves with reserved golden slivered almonds.
- Half orange slices and decorate serving plate with orange half-slices.
