- 3 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
- 1 cup - 2 tablespoons - 3/4 teaspoon [120 g] flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] unsalted cold milk
- A little vanilla extract
- 17 1/2 ounces [500 g] freshly stoned cherries
- 2 teaspoons [10 g] margarine

- Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
- Beat together egg yolks and egg whites; beat in sugar, then flour.
- Slowly stir in cold milk, already mixed with vanilla extract.
- Arrange freshly stoned cherries into a buttered baking dish.
- Evenly pour dough over cherries.
- Bake into preheated oven, for apporximately 40 minutes.
- Serve lukewarm, or cold.
