  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
  • 1 cup - 2 tablespoons - 3/4 teaspoon [120 g] flour
  • 1 cup [250 mL] unsalted cold milk
  • A little vanilla extract
  • 17 1/2 ounces [500 g] freshly stoned cherries
  • 2 teaspoons [10 g] margarine
  • Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
  • Beat together egg yolks and egg whites; beat in sugar, then flour.
  • Slowly stir in cold milk, already mixed with vanilla extract.
  • Arrange freshly stoned cherries into a buttered baking dish.
  • Evenly pour dough over cherries.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for apporximately 40 minutes.
  • Serve lukewarm, or cold.
